She was best known for her role as Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for 2002 as the best supporting female actress. She played the same role in the movies Sex and the City 2008 as well as Sex and the City 2 Sex and the City 2 in 2010. Her leading characters include Police Academy Big Trouble from Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the'80s. Kim Cattrall is most often linked to her HBO sitcom Sex & the City, where she played Samantha Jones. The part as Samantha Jones played by noted actress Cattrall was a pivotal event in her career.
